The AK CD-Ripper MKII makes it quick and easy to create rips of your favourite CDs, direct to your portable player. Simply set the ripping options on the connected Astell&Kern player - users can select the ripping speed (normal / fast / very fast) and file format (WAV / FLAC) - then just touch the CD ripping icon to begin.

Access to Gracenote’s servers

Wi-fi connected Astell&Kern players can access Gracenote’s servers (which hold the latest music data) and automatically write the corresponding music information and album cover to the ripped music files. There’s also the option to manually enter metadata such as album title, artist, genre, and year of release.

High quality built

The AK CD-Ripper MKII - like its sibling players – is beautifully crafted from metal, with some design features to ensure the best possible CD rip is created. For example, the CD slot has an increased weight, while a triangular support damper under the body uses a spring structure – both effectively limit vibrations resulting from CD rotation so music lovers can enjoy error-free ripping.
