Awakenings: The Best of David Nevue (2001-2010)

Awakenings is a vibrant collection of best-selling tracks from pianist David Nevue, whose solo piano music has inspired so many. All the tunes on the album are gems, but especially notable are Overcome, Big Snow in Salzburg; Sweet Dreams & Starlight, and Nevue's soulful arrangement of Amazing Grace. Nevue is a master of melody, and this album exemplifies why. His music is simple, elegant, inspires joy and puts dreams to music. If you're a fan of Nevue's music, but don't have many of his albums, this is a fantastic one to start with... a very nice compilation of his most popular works and arrangements.
