The Blue Boar MEGA TCT hole cutters have an extra hard grade of tungsten carbide for the tips of the teeth, and a double gauge thick side wall and bottom plate for added strength and durability with even the toughest materials. The added strength of the hole cutter enables the use of deeper gullet slots for easier plug removal. These TCT hole cutters are the toughest available for maximum performance on the job day after day and hole after hole. They will outperform and outlast dozens of ordinary self-feed bits (and without the mess) or bi-metal hole saws (without the time lost prying out the cut plugs). Use a single hole cutter for every material on the job site. The 2-1/4" cutting depth enables its use for cutting through strapping and joists without ship auger drill bits.
