Soft bands stretch making it easy to put on. Once they start to get tight from the chicks growing, about every 2 to 4 weeks, remove the old band and put on the next size up. After they have graduated through all sizes of Baby Poultry Leg Bands they, are ready for a permanent band.
Chick bands come in 4 colors to help identify a breed or individual chick. Magenta, Purple, Green and Orange. 100 bands per pack. Use one band or multiple bands per leg as identifiers.
Medium 1/4 inch diameter bands fit most standard size poultry day old chicks. If the band is easily rolled off the foot the size small should be used on the day old poultry until they grow large enough to use the size medium.

To Remove; Herd your poultry into a small area so they are easier to catch. Once caught, roll the band off the foot or pull the band out slightly and clip. Caution, as with all brands of bands do not wait until they are to tight to remove easily.
