  • NMEA 2000 Backbone Protection — The Bad Wolf SPN2K-12BA is designed to help protect NMEA 2000 marine electronics networks at the backbone/data path.
  • Power and Data Line Protection — Provides surge protection for both the 12VDC power supply and NMEA 2000 data lines, making it different from a power-feed-only protector.
  • Protect Critical Marine Electronics — Helps protect connected chartplotters, fish finders, GPS antennas, autopilots, VHF radios, engine gateways, displays, sensors, and other N2K devices.
  • Inline Backbone Installation — Installs directly into the NMEA 2000 backbone as a pass-through protection device using male and female connectors.
  • Can Also Be Used on Drop Cables — For additional point-of-use protection, the SPN2K-12BA may also be installed on a drop cable between a T-connector and the electronic device.
  • Built for 12VDC Marine Networks — Designed for 12VDC NMEA 2000 systems with up to 5A continuous current rating.
  • 7kA Surge Current Rating — Built to help reduce damage from voltage spikes, transient surges, induced voltage, and lightning-related electrical events.
