Banjo CPLG050 Polypropylene Pipe Fitting, Coupling, Schedule 80, 1/2" NPT Female

This Banjo CPLF050 coupling is a schedule 80 polypropylene pipe fitting with 1/2" female NPT threads. The coupling fitting connects two pipes with the same diameter going in the same direction to extend a straight run. It has female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting to male NPT threaded pipes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting is precision molded in polypropylene, which resists most chemicals, has excellent dimensional stability, and is sterilizable. In addition, it is reinforced with fiberglass for added durability, strength, and chemical resistance. The fitting is suitable for handling pressures up to 150 pounds per square inch (psi) at 70 degrees F. This schedule 80 (thick wall) fitting is suitable for higher pressure than a schedule 40 fitting. This fitting is suitable for use in a wide variety of liquid handling applications including, but not limited to, fertilizers, industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and water treatment.
