Banjo TA283 Polypropylene Tank Fitting, 2" Buttress x 2" Male NPT Threads with Gasket

This Banjo TA283 buttress is a polypropylene tank fitting with 2" male NPT threads and a gasket. The buttress fitting connects two pipes or fittings, one with a female end and the other with a male end. It has male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end for connecting to female NPT threaded pipes and female buttress threads on the other for handling high axial thrust in one direction. This fitting is precision molded in polypropylene, which resists most chemicals, has excellent dimensional stability, and is sterilizable. In addition, it is reinforced with fiberglass for added durability, strength, and chemical resistance. This fitting is suitable for use in a wide variety of liquid handling applications including, but not limited to, fertilizers, industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and water treatment.
