Mimosa is the first in a new quartet of releases for Bargrooves. This time following the theme of â€˜taste and tastemakersâ€™, Bargrooves Mimosa sees Ben Sowton team up with one of the hottest names in soulful house, Los Angeles-based Groove Junkies. As with all previous Bargrooves releases, resident DJ Ben Sowton helms disc 1 and puts together a mix of music with songs that compliment each other as well as orange juice mixes with champagne. On disc 2, the Groove Junkies have peppered their sweet and soulful mix with their own productions, some of which are exclusive to this compilation. The Bargrooves series is world-respected for its international cocktail of style and sophistication. Mimosa follows in that tradition with a double disc set of sunshine-soaked grooves.
