Description

  • Yaki kuruma-fu is a specialty of Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Craftsmen repeat the process of wrapping the articles one by one by hand and roasting them over an open fire. If it is called kuruma-fu, it is a standard ingredient in simmered dishes. Therefore, it is specialized for stewing and has a very different and satisfying texture from the soft and melting fu used in miso soup. It is recommended for small children and the elderly. It is recommended for oden, yakiyaki, nabe, curry, deep-fried or fried dishes. It can be stored at room temperature for 2 years, so it is recommended as a stock food for home use.
