The time is at hand. The signs of the times are shouting that we are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Everything in our world is in agitation. Before our eyes is fulfilling the Savior's prophecy of the events that precede His coming...of wars when "nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places." Matthew 24:6, 7.

This is a time of overwhelming interest to everyone. Rulers and statesmen, men who occupy positions of trust and authority, thinking men and women of all classes, have their attention fixed on world events. They see the strained relations that exist among the nations, and they recognize that something great and decisive is about to take place--that the world is on the verge of a stupendous crisis.

In His Sermon on the Mount, the Teacher who divided history into BC and AD implied that in the coming storm, those only whose lives are based on Scripture will survive.

Before that time bursts upon us with relentless fury, now is the time to check the foundation of our faith so see if we are shallow readers or if we can see the deeper things of Scripture.

This is not about which church we go to. "As in the days of Noah," God sends a message of warning, and in the imagery of Revelation 6, it is represented by the white horse--a message of truth that "goes conquering and to conquer." Everyone deserves an opportunity to consider this message.

The author senses a moral obligation that goes beyond the hype of internet to guarantee this information offers a destiny higher that the reader might imagine.

Christ promises to make us "ruler over all that He has" if we meet the conditions in the wedding parables, but His words also imply that we are asleep with our lights out on this topic, Matthew 25:5.
