• For High temperature epoxy repairs for process vessels, distillation columns, heat exchangers, clarifiers and scrubber units. Repairs of cracks and holes on engine and pump casings, pipes, tanks and other equipment. Resurface of pitted metal surfaces. Excellent adhesion to many metal surfaces including steel, stainless steel, specialist steels.
• Operates at High Temperatures. Resists a wide range of chemicals. Excellent erosion and corrosion resistance. Outstanding mechanical properties. Reduced health and safety risks as it is solvent-free. No shrinkage, expansion or distortion.
• Cure Times table. (*Post Cure: ≥1 hour at min 122°F/50°C. Temperature increase ≤ 55°F/30°C per hour.) Light loading: 72 hrs at 10°C, 18 hrs at 20°C, 5 hrs at 30°C, 4 hrs at 40°C. Full mechanical or thermal loading: Post Cure* at 10°C, 30 hrs at 20°C, 24 hrs at 30°C, 6 hrs at 40°C. Immersion in chemicals: Post Cure* at 10°C, Post Cure* at 20°C, 60 hrs at 30°C, 8 hrs at 40°C.
• Appearance: Paste. Colour: Dark grey. Working Life Will vary according to temperature. At 68°F (20°C) the usable life of mixed material is 60 minutes. Application should occur in the following ambient temperature range: 50°F/10°C to 104°F/40°C. The maximum overcoat time is 24 hours. Volume Capacity 23.4 in³ (383 cm³)/kg.
