INTERESTING FACTS: § Morisot was married to Edouard Manet’s brother Eugene. § She entered her work into every impressionist Salon exhibit except one; when she was pregnant with her daughter Julie. § Her paintings were very popular, but she was never commercially successful. § Morisot contracted pneumonia from her daughter Julie and died on March 2, 1895 in Paris.
