Better in the Raw for Cats is a cat food designed to provide your cat with essential nutrients and protein for health and longevity. Many of the diseases associated with commercial cat foods can be avoided with a raw meat diet. No grains of any kind are used. Just add raw meat and water. The Cat Food Recipe • 2lb. (900g) raw meat • 1/2 cup Better in the Raw for Cats • 1 1/2 cup water Step 1: Pour 1 1/2 cups cold water into a bowl, add 1/2 cup of Better In The Raw powder, and whisk. The product will create a semi-gelatinous texture within a few minutes. Step 2: Add 2lbs. (900g) raw meat of your choice, ground or chopped. Stir gently until well mixed. Step 3: Portion into daily servings - 1/2 - 3/4 cup will feed one adult cat. This can be split into two servings. Step 4: Freeze the finished product for storage. Thaw as needed. How to thaw frozen raw cat food: Thaw frozen cat food by warming to room temperature in a warm water bath before serving. Avoid microwaving on a regular basis. Remove un-eaten food within 30 minutes to be refrigerated again. Do not leave the raw food out at room temperature. The cat food will keep fresh for 24-48 hours once thawed and refrigerated.
