Ironically it was the very root of that disagreement - Jones' desire to explore and experiment with other musical forms - that became his phoenix. By 1984 he had teamed up with Sandinista session man and cult video/film maker Don Letts, bassist Leo Williams, drummer Greg Roberts and keyboard player Dan Donovan and between them had given birth to Big Audio Dynamite.
