Billy's Back On Broadway

Broadway performer, pop singer and actor Billy Porter releases his third album and first in nine years. It comes on the heels of his award winning role as Lola in the Broadway smash Kinky Boots. For his role, Porter has won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical, Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical and Outer Critics Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical. Selections for the record were culled from popular shows including Dreamgirls, Guys and Dolls, Kinky Boots, My Fair Lady, New York, New York and others are included. Cyndi Lauper who wrote the music and lyrics for Kinky Boots makes a guest appearance on the album as well.
