Eight Independent Bidirectional 3G-SDI Connections (Mini-BNC): Simultaneously capture and playback up to four video streams at resolutions up to 1080p60.
PCIe Interface: Utilizes a high-speed PCIe interface for reliable data transfer and low-latency performance. PCI Express 8 lane gen 2 required, compatible with 8 and 16 lane PCI Express slots on Mac OS, Windows and Linux.
Wide Format Support: Compatible with a range of SD, HD, and 3G-SDI formats, including 720p, 1080i, 1080p. Supports 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 video sampling. Supports Rec. 601, Rec. 709, Rec. 2020 color spaces.
Software Compatibility: Works seamlessly with a range of editing, visual effects, and streaming software applications.
Reference Input: Features a reference input for synchronizing with external genlock (blackburst and tri-sync) signals, ensuring precise timing in multi-camera setups.

DeckLink Quad 2 features 8 independent SDI capture and playback channels in a single card! Fully compatible with the previous 4 channel model, this new model also allows 4 independent capture and playback channels but now also includes 4 extra channels that developers can use for configuring the card in any combination of up to 8 capture or 8 playback channels. This means DeckLink Quad 2 allows each of the 8 3G-SDI BNC connectors to switch direction between capture or playback in SD and HD up to 1080p60 and as a complete independent channel.
