Blue: An anthology of poetry and prose

Blue is an anthology of poetry and prose featuring Jamaican and other poets from around the globe. Looking back, I now see how very privileged my siblings and I were and how many families had to struggle hard to provide a secondary education for their children. Even grappling with the decision be-tween education, menial work, and having food to eat. When the idea to produce an anthology came to me after meeting several poets within the past year I was undoubtedly excited to pitch it. The support was amazing! Giving back to my old college alma mater in Jamaica was as simple as â€˜calling all poetsâ€™ from the old school on the hill. A labor of love for this fund raising project, and a few weeks later â€˜Blueâ€™ came to life. You will read poems from all poets, enjoy their different styles, explore genres, and even twist your tongue with some Jamaican patois! Enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed putting it all together.
