- Adapter Usage: This is used to adapt certain tow bars/baseplates so that they can interface with different base‑plate or tow‑bar systems
- Steel Construction: This is made from steel with a powder‑coat finish for corrosion resistance and durability
- Installation: This requires removing the existing lug‑style brackets on the tow bar, then bolting on the adapter brackets and securing with the proper pins/clips to attach to the baseplate
- Cross-Compatibility: Designed to let Blue Ox baseplate connect to tow bars originally designed for other manufacturers such as Valley, Reese, Draw‑Tite, or Eaz‑Lift universal‑style tow bars; don't substitute non‑factory parts
- Keep in Mind: This is only an adapter; you still need a proper tow bar and baseplate (and correct safety chains, wiring, etc.) purchased separately or already have on hand to tow safely
