Folk singer Stanton Wheelhouse III left home at seventeen with the simple goal of breaking away from his strict father. He had no idea his journey would take him from small town Mississippi to Greenwich Village and even to London, where he would play in support of arguably the most famous musician of our time, Bob Dylan. He's finally written his story and done so with poignant honesty.

The legends are many, from using alligator gar scales as guitar picks to having a gun pulled on him by Kris Kristofferson, and along the way he had wild times with celebrated musicians like Waylon Jennings and Warren Zevon. From the exhilaration of his formative early performances on Bourbon Street to the depths of despair and drug addiction on the Sunset Strip, it's all here with nothing held back.
