- Description: This fabric is a Blue/Gold Taffeta silk, made of 100% silk. This taffeta silk is a crisp and heavy fabric, with a very smooth feel to it. It is machine-made using rapier looms, and is yarn-dyed. Taffeta silk has a sheen, and is iridescent. It is slightly heavier than a dupioni silk, drapes well, and has little-to-no slubs.
