Blumat Pre Designed 4' x 8' Raised Bed Kit - Automatic Drip Irrigation Watering System

This system utilizes a two 9" Blumat Maxi sensors to automatically water and monitor the moisture levels in your garden soil. BluSoak tape facilitates even water distribution. When coupled together with Blumat carrots, BluSoak tape only delivers water to your plants when they need it, which promotes exponential growth and impressive yields. 
 

You can also leave your BluSoak tape under your garden all winter, no problem. This kit comes with all the necessary parts for a gravity-fed system (Reservoir NOT included.) Water source needs to be 6-10' above the garden. 

 

For a pressure system running off a faucet or garden hose, simply add a Blumat Pressure Reducer. 
 

This Kit Includes:

•  2 Blumat Maxi sensor carrots (9") 
• 40 feet of BluSoak drip tape 
• 8 hold down stakes 
• 2 BluSoak tape to sensor fittings

What You Might Need (Not included in kit): - 

• Connection to your water source (thru-hull bulkhead fitting for gravity systems, a pressure reducer, or a Blumat pump) 
• 8mm Supply tube to connect your water source to your system
• Hold-Down stakes to be able to place your BluSoak throughout the system 

How it works 
 

• The Tropf Blumat self-watering system functions automatically. As the soil dries, a vacuum and hydro-static pressure, coupled with a spring-loaded gating mechanism, pulls water from the main line. When your soil is sufficiently moist, pressures equalize, and the Tropf Blumat automatically stops water flow. Essentially, water will seep through your BluSoak tape only when your plants need it. 
• For a gravity-fed system, you'll need a reservoir. See 5-gallon Reservoirs below, sold with or without thru-hulls installed.
