BOSCH 02007 Ignition Condenser

Ignition condensers prevent premature burn off of the breaker points (ignition contact set) as a result of sparking when the points open. Breaker-triggered coil ignition systems cannot function correctly without an ignition condenser. Provides for low-loss interruption of the primary current and suppresses most of the arcing between the contact points.
