Maintenance
Disassemble the Cheese Tower before cleaning. The slate tiers are dishwasher safe. Slate is a naturally porous substance that can appear stained after use. Simply give the whole board a rub of mineral oil, and then wash it in the dishwasher or by hand. The wooden stand is not dishwasher safe - clean it only by hand. A monthly rub of mineral oil will keep the wood looking great.
