JIC Gem is proud to introduce our 4 Piece Assortment Set of Druzies and Geode Specimens: Amethyst, Heat-Treated Citrine, Celestine and Crystal Quartz. The variety set includes 3 different druzies; Amethyst, Heat-Treated Citrine, Celestine, as well as 1 geode specimen; Crystal Quartz. Each specimen will measure between 1 to 2 Inches in length. Due to the natural materials each specimen is unique and you will receive specimens similar to the shape and orientation shown in the pictures. Amethyst is a semiprecious stone and is a violet variety of quartz and occurs in primary hues from a light pinkish violet to a deep purple. Heat-Treated Citrine is the result of heat treating Amethyst clusters up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit. When high amounts of heat are applied to amethyst specimens the specimens take on a yellow-orange or amber tone similar to that of natural Citrine but with more of a deep and darker coloring. Celestine is a mineral that occurs as crystals, and in compact massive and fibrous forms. It is mostly found in sedimentary rocks and displays a delicate blue color.
