This natural brown, high quality pressed fiber chipboard is perfect for all kinds of DIY craft projects including frames, boxes, photo albums, diary covers. In order to make the 100pt thickness, two 50pt sheets are glued together, pressed with a hydraulic press and trimmed to the final size. The thickness is 2.54mm thick or 0.1 " (a tenth of an inch). The chipboard has a matte smooth finish on both sides which can be written on with pen, pencil, ink or crayon. PLEASE NOTE: Our cutters have a tolerance of 1/8", so some pieces may measure 1/8" plus or minus in either direction. Although we check the product before it leaves the warehouse, humidity and moisture may sometimes cause the boards to be less then perfectly flat.
