CTA Tools 7459 Lower Timing Gear Retainer Wedge - Compatible with GM
- Keeps the lower timing gear retainer locked while the cylinder head is removed from engine
- Compatible with I4, I5 & I6 engines. Without this tool, the disassembly of the lower portion of the engine will increase labor time by 12hrs+ for cylinder head repair
- Make sure to follow the GM Service Bulletin “06-06-01-17C” for using the Lower Timing Gear Retainer Tool
- Failure to do so may lead to damage and additional repair steps not covered by the warranty
- Replacement for GM Factory Tool #EN-48464. It is also recommended to use CTA #5047 & GM Factory Tool #EN-46547. Compatible with Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer, Isuzu, Oldsmobile & Saab
