CURT's high-quality powder coat finish is applied after sending welded hitches through multiple stages, including a shot blast, wash and preparation system creating a smooth, clean surface. Each hitch is also dipped in liquid A-coat before it receives the powder coat finish. The two coatings cure together in the finishing oven providing the most rust and chip resistant hitch available. Class 1 hitches have a 1-1/4” receiver opening, and rate up to 2,000 lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) and 200 lbs. tongue weight (TW). This Receiver Hitch includes a standard CURT ball mount with a pin & clip. All CURT hitches come with mounting hardware and easy to follow installation instructions. The standard ball mount included will be application specific to your vehicle.
