Forged from high-carbon, no-stain steel, the durable Calphalon Classic 8 inch Serrated Bread Knife delivers reliable cutting performance. Full tang construction - with a single piece of steel forming the blade, bolster and tang - means the knife is strong and well balanced. The end of the triple-riveted handle is etched with the name of the knife so you can quickly identify it in the cutlery block. With its long serrated blade, the 8 inch Bread Knife easily cuts thick loaves of bread, even crusty artisan varieties, without crushing the bread's soft interior. The serrated blade is great for cutting tomatoes and other uses as well.
