Cambridge Audio's flagship universal player the 752BD, uses the very latest Mediatek chipset, so it's a lightning fast universal player and will play a variety of different disc formats such as 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray DVD, CD, SACD, DVD-A, AVCHD and HDCD. It's the performance that really separates the 752BD from the competition. It uses our proven audio knowhow and features 5 separate Wolfson D/A converters, to ensure that every audio channel is decoded in the highest possible quality. • ATF2 Upsampling - The 752BD features our unique ATF2 (Adaptive Time Filtering) upsampling technology which was developed in conjunction with Anagram Technologies, Switzerland. All incoming audio data, such as CD quality 16-bit/44.1kHz, is upsampled to 24-bit/192kHz using a high-end 32-bit Analog Devices DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and five Wolfson audio DACs (digital to analogue convertors). "Polynomial Curve Fitting Interpolation" provides a much more accurate upsampled audio soundwave than traditional upsampling processes. And a unique timing system buffers audio data to almost eradicate digital jitter. Vital - as jitter, common in digital audio devices, loses vital detail, often leaving digital audio sounding flat and lifeless.
