Silicone withstands temperatures up to 500 degrees F, resists stains and odors, and is dishwasher safe. Color is red to denote use for high-heat cooking applications. A molded-in hanging hook on the handle grabs bowl or pan edges to keep the brush from sliding in. Bristle trim is 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 inches; overall length is 9-3/4 inches.
