Castelli Volo Shorts - Men's

Not all cyclists prefer shorts with bib straps. Because of this, Castelli offers most of its race-ready shorts in bibbed and non-bibbed versions. The Volo falls into the training category for Castelli, which is pretty much race quality for just about any other manufacturer. The Volo is made with a blend of Affinity Lycra and Affinity BLC fabrics. Both of these fabrics offer a high amount of stretch and aerodynamics with lightly compressive qualities to fight fatigue. The Volo also gets Castelli's Giro Air leg band, a wide strip of stretch material that keeps the fit secure without binding or wearing off after a few washes.For the insert, Castelli chose its KISS Air chamois. This is a low-profile chamois, designed to reduce bulk. Most of the dual-density padding is relegated to the ischial zone, while the perineal area is protected by a pressure-relieving channel.
