The Catheter Caddy enhances mobility and comfort for the urinary catheterized patient. Allowing the patient to move about freely without constantly worrying about maintaining the urine leg bag, the Caddy is a cloth bag which securely holds a urinary catheter drain bag. An innovative design enhances the comfort, durability and ease of use of the Caddy. The Catheter Caddy reduces discomfort from friction caused by the leg bag holder rubbing against skin and pressure caused by the restraining straps holding the leg bag in place. Both of these issues are eliminated through its waist belt/suspension bag design which removes the weight from the leg and distributes it widely across the patient's hips. The cloth bag reduces skin friction due to its pliancy and moisture absorbency. Suspended from a waist belt designed to fit up to a 56-inch waist and for ease of use, the Catheter Caddy holds the urinary drain bag firmly in place around the thigh with an adjustable strap. The belt suspension loops can be moved to allow for the placement of the Caddy on either the right or left leg and on the outside, inside or front of the leg. The bag allows for ease in emptying a full drain bag with an opening at the bottom for the easy access to the drain valve. The placement of the bag against the leg and in relation to the urinary catheter can be adjusted by adjusting the placement of the waist belt.
