Permethrin Insect Protection - Made to protect soldiers from insects while asleep or resting on military cots. The Upgrade fly is constructed of 70 Denier 1.9 ounce nylon ripstop. The EPA registered BedNet has permethrin bonded to the fabric for insect repellency. The Upgrade Kit includes the fly, (1) Shock corded pole, (6) X3 stakes. The kit weighs a little more than two pounds. The permethrin and waterproofing are both imbedded in the base of the tent and fly.
