Celebrating the Saints

As a supplement to the sanctoral calendar in Lutheran Service Book, Celebrating the Saints presents the saints not as great exceptions but as great examples for Christians today. Each saint or event is given a short historical sketch, and readers are given related devotional thoughts or liturgical material. Lutheran parishioners, students, and Christians interested in the Church’s history as viewed from the saints’ perspectives will come to know, love, and thank God for these saints.
