It allows you to center three bright objects in your eyepiece and press the align button, and you're aligned. You can make it even easier by attaching Celestron's StarSense AutoAlign so that it aligns itself
- Reflecting Telescope: The Celestron NexStar 8SE is a reflecting telescope that captures light through a lens and bounces it off a series of mirrors into the eyepiece where you then see an image. Every mirror reflection causes light loss in reflecting telescopes
- Better Equipped: The computerized telescope is equipped with the on-board NexStar computer system and is compatible with all the high-tech accessories. The computer system is pre-programmed with Sky Tours so that you don't have to manually re-adjust the telescope for every celestial object you look at
