The RotoBrute SB35 Smart Brute Automatic Magnetic Drill Press cuts consistent, fast, smooth, bur-free holes every time. To optimize performance of your mag drill, RotoBrute CT150 or CT200 Carbide Tipped Annular Cutters and BruteLube Fluid are recommended. However, the SB35 has a 3/4" arbor and can be used with most 3/4" weldon shank annular cutters. The SB35 was engineered for heavy duty use and can be used in auto-feed mode or manual mode. The capacity for auto-feed mode is 1-3/16" diameter and 1-3/8" depth of cut. The capacity for manual mode is 1-3/8" diameter and 2" depth of cut. Mag Drill be used with twist drills with QXSB35 drill/chuck adaptor (sold separately). Using the drill in auto-feed mode optimizes the feed rate. Consistent drilling allows operator to experience longer tool life and increased productivity. With safety in mind, the SB35 was designed with a cycle stop sensor which turns off drill when hole is completed. External fluid reservoir holds cutting fluid and coats the internal annular cutter edge when drilling. The SB35 is ideal for steel fabrication, truck/trailer frame drilling, maintenance, construction, and other industrial steel work. Directions for Use in Auto-Mode (Please review manual for full instructions): 1) Turn on magnet to make sure SB35 is secure on work piece 2) Choose proper mode setting based on cutter size 3) Turn on motor 4) Use handles to move cutter down to work piece- make sure pilot pin is touching the steel 5) Push in handles to activate auto mode 6) Mag drill will cut on its own 7) Auto-stop will turn off motor when hole is complete.
