- Boosts Weak Signals When Properly Installed - Compatible with all indoor and outdoor passive (non-amplified) TV antennas, this amplifier improves signal strength and quality when low signal is the actual issue. However, it will not resolve problems caused by interference, multipath, or obstructions, which are common with attic-mounted antennas. For best results, users with attic installations may need to move their antenna outdoors to achieve reliable reception. Please note: TV signal meters often do not reflect true RF levels, so the improvement may not be visible on your screen’s meter. Not compatible with antennas that already have a built-in amplifier or were originally sold with one.
