- Bright & Balanced Costa Rican Tarrazu – Grown in the high-altitude soil of Costa Rica’s Tarrazu region, these premium Arabica beans offer a crisp cup with vibrant flavor. Expect bright notes of lemon and smooth chocolate for a beautifully balanced brew.
- Light Roast for a Delicate Finish – Lightly roasted to bring out the beans’ bright acidity and fruity complexity. This roast highlights the sweet and citrusy profile while maintaining a silky body and low bitterness—perfect for those who enjoy a lively cup.
- Single Origin from Tarrazu – Cultivated in one of the world’s most respected coffee-growing regions, this single-origin coffee reflects the unique terroir of Tarrazu, Costa Rica. High elevation and rich volcanic soil create beans with unmatched clarity, aroma, and depth of flavor.
- Coffee Bean Direct, Est 2004 – With over two decades of roasting experience, our family-owned business is dedicated to providing great-tasting coffee at fair prices. We source beans from top regions around the world and roast them with care to ensure your cup is always full of flavor.
- Whole Beans, Large 5-lb Bag – Delivered as whole beans to preserve peak flavor, in a generous 5-lb bag to keep you stocked for daily brewing. Grind fresh for your preferred brew method—drip, pour-over, French press, espresso, percolator, or reusable coffee pods.
This Light Roast version of "the" Central American coffee classic is an excellent morning coffee! Brew it through your drip machine so you can experience all its flavors. This full-bodied coffee is delightfully smooth with a sweet, fruited aroma. In flavor, subtle chocolate nuances pair beautifully with notes of sweet citrus. The cup distinctly brightens toward the finish with a sweetly dry, lemon-like citrus nuance that pleasantly lingers. At its best prepared as a drip brew, the French press produces a somewhat brighter cup with the more pronounced citrus nuances. The brightness, or acidity, may be a bit overwhelming when this coffee is prepared as a single-origin espresso.
