Cole Hersee # 48120-140 Amp Battery Isolator that is used to convert from a 1-battery system to a 2-battery system.

Used in many High Amp Stereo systems, EMS vehicles and Fire Trucks.
This isolator will work on most vehicles except General Motors years 1988 - 2007.
For General Motors vehicles 1988-2007, you will need #48122 or #48162 which are in a separate listing.

A battery isolator allows you to charge 2 batteries from a single alternator, keeping the starting battery isolated from the 2nd battery.
