The Leather Protector is an ideal care, food, feed product for leather car seats, furniture upholstery, suite, settee, sofas, jackets and handbags. It gives a matt/satin finish when applied. It contains anti-oxidants which prevent the leather from disintegrating and the UV filters protect the surfaces of old leathers from fading. The amount is usually sufficient to treat a complete interior or a whole set of furniture several times.We recommend applying the Leather protector every 3 to 6 months and only after the Leather is thoroughly cleaned. For best results, use Colourlock Strong or Mild Leather Cleaner. Important: Do not use on open pore leathers. Test: Rub a drop of water on the surface. If the leather absorbs the water it is open pore. We have special cleaners and care products for these type of leathers. Application: Always test any products first in a hidden area for changes or colour correctness! Use COLOURLOCK Leather Protector as soon as the leather has dried after cleaning or colour refreshment, usually on the following day. Apply with a soft cloth and let dry without polishing afterwards. One application is sufficient. Strained surfaces (heavy use or in sunlit areas) should be treated every three months. Important to always clean the leather before in case of soiling. These products are also suitable for Cool Leather/SRT (SunReflective Technology) Leather.
