This mix contains powdered egg and powdered shortening right in the mix and has a slightly sweeter taste than the regular buttermilk mix. This batter won't rise until it's put on a hot griddle, which makes it perfect for preparing ahead of time and storing in the refrigerator. Ingredients: wheat flour, corn flour, rye flour, sugar, leavening (bicarbonate of soda, alumi- num phosphate, monocalcium phosphate), whey, powdered buttermilk, salt, hydrogenated soy- bean oil, dextrose, whole eggs, corn syrup and solids, sodium caseinate, lecithinated soy flour, mono and diglycerides, and US certified color.
