The MiniAlarm mounts to nearly any wall or sets conveniently on any horizontal surface; detecting any motion in the room and emitting a screeching 130-decibel alarm that'll give unsuspecting thieves a start--for the door. An easy way to scare off intruders without installing an expensive security system, the MiniAlarm Motion Sensor is a battery-powered, standalone burglar alarm that protects your home when you're away. Arming the MiniAlarm is easy, thanks to the included keychain remote. Once armed, the MiniAlarm uses a passive infrared (PIR) beam to detect movement up to 20 feet away. If triggered, the loud alarm blares for 30 seconds before resetting automatically. The remote also disarms the alarm. With its 30-second exit delay and 4-second entry delay, there's plenty of time to enter and exit without setting off the alarm.
