Coral Fang

After a pair of scorching indie albums that reminded fans how much fun it was to throw your fist in the air, The Distillers make their major label debut with Coral Fang, produced by Gil Norton (The Pixies, Foo Fighters). Led by hardcore punk femme fatale Brody Armstrong, The Distillers are furious and scalding. Hers is the gravel-voiced, roaring channeling of Patti Smith and the Plasmatics!/ Wendy O. Williams yet there!/s the sense that this is punk as if it were just being discovered. The Distillers are punk for a new generation.

HISTORY: Formed in L.A. in 1998 by Brody--from Melbourne, Australia, the band released its self-titled Epitaph debut in 2000. Sing Sing Death House appeared the same year and was re-released in 2002 thanks to the sudden popularity of "Seneca Falls", The Distillers have shared stages with No Doubt, Garbage, AFI, X, and more.
