- The Speculator is a promo role for the game Coup which is used as a replacement for the Duke.
- A player claiming the Speculator role may Gamble, taking coins from the Treasury equal to the amount the player currently has, up to a maximum of 5. If the Speculator is successfully challenged, any coins received are returned to the Treasury and the first challenger takes the active player's remaining coins.
- As a Counteraction, may block Foreign Aid.
