- INFUSION SPIRAL - An American Oak Infusion Spiral gives your homebrewed beer barrel aged flavor. Our premium American Oak Infusion Spirals have a Medium Plus Toast, and are an easy and economical alternative to aging barrels.
- MEDIUM PLUS TOAST - Medium Plus Toast imparts a good balance of tannins, flavor and aroma to your wine or beer. These spirals should not be reused. All of the oak flavor is fully extracted after one use, and won’t add flavor to future fermentations.
- BARREL AGED FLAVOR - Our Craft A Brew American White Oak Infusion Spirals add a sweet bouquet with warm vanilla overtones. American Oak will be bolder in flavor and aroma than French Oak, which is more subtle.
- HOW TO USE - American Oak spirals can be snapped into smaller lengths as needed. Place the oak infusion spiral directly into your beer or wine. The oak flavor in charred oak spirals is fully extracted in 6 weeks. You can remove the oak from the fermenter earlier for milder oak contribution and flavor. 1 small spiral treats 1 gallon and 1 large spiral treats 3 gallons.
