- How to Use: Add one vial of Luminol powder to eight ounces of water in a small spray bottle and mix gently. When sprayed on surfaces where a reaction is possible, you'll observe a bright, ethereal glow, revealing the hidden chemistry at play.
- When sprayed on surfaces where dried blood is evident, the luminol will make the blood patterns appear a bright green.
- Use within 20 minutes after mixing in a total dark area.
You've seen Luminol on TV. Luminol is often used in the visualization of blood. It is highly sensitive and can usually locate faint blood that is invisible to the eye. One vial contains about 15 grams of powdered luminol that, when mixed with water, makes 8 ounces of luminol.Â
