With a sheet metal casing, it is stronger and has better safety performance. Moreover, the internal battery cells of DC HOUSE lithium batteries are fixed by metal clamps. The metal fixtures weigh as much as 2.2 lbs (1 kg). Compared with other simple methods of fixing battery cells, the metal clamps can better stabilize the battery cells and ensure safety under various circumstances. - Low-temperature Cut-off Function: During charging, it's from 32°F to 131°F, and during discharging, it's from -4°F to 131°F. It has a temperature protection function. The 48V 100Ah lithium battery has a low-temperature protection function. When the temperature sensor of the 48V 100Ah lithium iron phosphate battery detects that the temperature is lower than 32°F, the Battery Management System (BMS) will cut off the charging function. When the temperature is lower than -7.6°F, the discharging function will be cut off. And when the temperature rises back to 32°F, it will automatically recover. This effectively protects the 48V 100Ah battery and extends its service life.
- Tips: When the temperature is too low in winter, the battery charging and discharging will cause capacity attenuation. It needs to be kept above 32°F for charging, and the charger is truly fully charged if the green light is always on and does not flash.
