Darcy's Salvation: A Pride and Prejudice Variation

Fitzwilliam Darcy has been pushing people away ever since Elizabeth Bennet rejected his marriage proposal a year ago. Tired of seeing him alone, his interfering cousin, Colonel Fitzwilliam, writes to Elizabeth pretending to be Darcy. With her father deceased, Elizabeth agrees to come to Pemberley and be Darcy's bride. When she arrives, however, she discovers that Darcy no longer wants a wife. Stranded in Derbyshire, Elizabeth must accept Darcy's reluctant hospitality. During their time together, they realize what they both need the most is each other.
