We used a special preparation of 5 different California date varieties to provide the sweet complexity in this mildly spicy and sweet sauce. Most of the sweet chili sauces out there use sugar and water as a base and then some sort of additive as a thickener. Because our date nectar is already thick, no need for a thickener! Then we use some really good organic apple sider vinegar, garlic and red peppers to create a real-deal sweet chili sauce made with the highest quality ingredients.
