- Form a mechanical-type seal against steam, oils, solvents, hydrocarbons, and a variety of chemicals.
Paste Sealant. Heat Curing Compound, Fibered Paste Consistency, High Chemical Tolerance, Trowel on or Caulk. Ease of application achieves seal before full cure, allows for fast and easy repairs, high-pressure temperature and chemical tolerances (Solvents, Oils, Steam, Liquors, Hydrocarbons). Creates a mechanical seal high wear resistance. Applications as a gasket dressing. Deacon 770 improves the sealing capability of standard die cut gaskets. Unaffected by thermal cycling Seal joints in multi-piece gaskets. Typical Applications:Â Turbine Split Casing, Pump Casing, Boilers: Doors, Stacks, Flanges, Heat Exchangers, Any Metal-to-Metal Joints, Leaking Gaskets, Threaded Fittings, Steam Traps, Sight Glasses, Nuts & Bolts, Gasket Dressings,Â Segmented Gaskets.
